Well, as things usually happen, the beginning of the end is a rocky one. I have been taking nursing graduate classes using Angel online learning system, and know it very well. Now, at the end, I get to learn a new system through a different campus. . . and that is the reason I named this blogspot Learn Something New Daily; because whether we want to or not, we do learn something new daily.
With this ends beginning, I have learned that the ou.edu IT help line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and that even when I call them five times within one hour because I cannot log onto the course that began two days ago, and I still cannot join my classmates, they do not lose patience with me and teach me patience. Each day they have said "give the system time to catch up with the changes, you should be able to log on tomorrow."
So, with that, I tell you I will try again tomorrow! and it will work. (always the optimist!!!)

I'm with you on learning a new system. I, too, am use to angel learning and this is totally different. Thankfully, the computer is very forgiving with me and that wonderful "Back" button will help me if I stray too far from where I should be. Kudos also to those people at the help desk - They are very friendly and it's nice to know they are there 24/7.
ReplyDeleteTamara, I am glad that you have worked through the systems to get to D2L finally! Salute to your efforts and persistence! -Xun
